At Harvest Church, membership is more than just a formality—it’s a family. We believe that God doesn’t just save us into a personal relationship with Jesus; He places us into His family, the Church.

Why Membership Matters

Membership at Harvest is a commitment to growing in faith, serving with purpose, and building the church together. Here's what it means:

• Belonging: You're not just an attendee—you’re part of the family. The Bible says a Christian without a church is like an orphan without a home.

• Shared Vision: We unite around the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, building a life-giving, faith-filled church in our city and beyond.

• Mutual Support: As members, we care for, protect, and encourage one another.

• Purposeful Participation: Every member plays a part in God’s mission through prayer, giving, serving, and inviting others.

• A Place to Grow: God has a specific place for you in His Church, and membership helps you step confidently into that role.

 

What You’ll Learn in the Membership Session

In our introductory class, you'll get an overview of:

• The story and vision of Harvest Church

• Our beliefs and values as part of the Assemblies of God

• What membership means practically and spiritually

• How you can get involved and make a difference

At the end of the session, you'll be invited to commit to our Church Family Commitment, which expresses our shared commitment to unity, growth, service, and generosity.

What’s Next?

To become a member, you’ll need to:

1. Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

2. Have been baptised by full immersion since your profession of faith

3. Attend a membership class

4. Affirm the Church Family Commitment
